Designers of Tisza (a Hungarian sneaker brand, founded in the 70's - now making authentic retro-style sneakers ) have made a single pair of sneaker for Veronika Harcsa ( Hungarian jazz singer) to express their devotion. Veronika has inspired several fashion designers in Hungary with her magnificient voice and angel-like appearance. She is in her mid-twenties, but already released three albums. She became quickly popular in Japan when her first album ( Speak Low - released by an independent Japanese label) became No. 1 on the vocal jazz charts of Tower Records. She started to write her own songs and the second album ( You Don't Know It's You) brought her bigger fame in Hungary as well (including the hit-song Too Early).Now she is invited to jazz festivals all around in Europe. I immediately became fascinated by her voice when I moved back to Hungary from The Netherlands after ten years living abroad. Veronika's concerts are almost like a spiritual experience for me: very uplifting and purifies my soul. Her deep and honest feelings give an enormous amount of positive energy to the audience who silently admires the innocent beauty during the magic performance. It took several months for Tisza to find the right material for the sneaker and the makers have put a piece of their hear into it.
