i hope you guys can help me here i'm looking for a few names of some french female jazz chanteuses preferably from the 50's, 60's and early 70's - not looking for any modern day artists - they can be obscure or well known - they can sing in french and also sing in english - or if there are any english speaking female jazz vocalists from that time period that sing in french, i'll take those suggestions too many thanks in advance! i'll check back here from time to time while i do my own research, but i would appreciate any help i could get here

i appreciate the info rostasi i knew he must've gotten from madlib but i have no idea how he found it i used to post on stones throw and nobody ever got anywhere when it came to samples... legal stuff, etc... the damu clip was the first time where i got any clues as to what the song might be i guess it's back to more searching =\ somebody kill me now
