  1. I have transcribed Charlie Parker and Wardell Gray's solos on Relaxin' at Camarillo taken from Bird's Complete Savoy and Dial Recordings. I have transcribed all 4 takes. Over the next few weeks, I will post the transcriptions to my website. To get the ball rolling, I have posted the solos from the Master take this week: http://scooby-sax.com/transcriptions.aspx Enjoy! -- Scooby
  2. There is an interesting version of Close Your Eyes on YouTube featuring flutist, Holly Hofmann and pianist, Mike Wofford: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gkWfr3sr4Zs I liked the flute solo so much that I transcribed it and put it on my website: http://scooby-sax.com/transcriptions.aspx Enjoy! - Scooby
  3. Yeah, I do that for all the transcriptions. It takes no time to do it and doesn't require that much more storage space. It's nice for a tenor player (for example) to be able to play along with an alto solo. Of course, there are the occasional range issues where someone will have to jump up or down an octave. Thanks for checking out the site. Check back every 2-3 weeks as I try to regularly add new material. - Scooby www.scooby-sax.com
