A great set sounding better than ever courtesy of my new ( to me ) TT. Must did out other Toshibas and re-evaluate them too.

I know what you mean, I`ve a lot ( to much ) of these copies.
IMHO, at a to high temperature pressed records. All have a iritating surface hiss.
I bought recently a record flattener, wich heat the record (in a long time) up to 60 degrees Celcius and in the same time down to under 30 degres Celcius.
The level of hiss goes down, but not enough for me.
It`s hard to say but: straight to the bin with these crapp sounding albums.
