  1. I am still digesting your recommendations for the 70s! 😜
  2. Next Tuesday. Got my tickets today: https://www.festivaldejazzmadrid.com/blog/events/fred-hersch-avishai-cohen/ Cohen subbing in for Enrico Rava.
  3. Makes sense! This new project is most welcome.
  4. Yeah! Helen Folasade Adu was a favourite back on those days! What a voice, what a woman!
  5. Now I need to listen to this companion disc...

  7. The music is inteeeeeeense!!!! Only the bass interludes bring some release. The disc gives you a really good glimpse of what experiencing this group live must have been at the time. 8. Not sure if this one has been posted, I just discovered this Kinney Dorham trumpetist:
  9. In my listening list for the next few days... stay tuned!
  10. Chet Baker Chet Atkins Pinochet

There are two separate meanings: Silke is a Frisian diminutive form of Cecilia, from the Roman family name Caecilius. Silke is also a German diminutive form of Celia, meaning "heavenly", from the Latin "caelum" meaning "heaven".
