I used to work for Home Entertainment in Dallas at the Galleria Mall, in a store that had initially been a Bang & Olufsen prime site. Same owner- we still sold tons of B&O, just not enough to only sell that. Crazy they even hired me.. "no your experience as a titty bar DJ (nightclub sound systems) will not help you here", lol. We carried Yamaha, Adcom, Martin Logan, McIntosh, Proceed, Definitive Technology, Velodyne, to name a few.
I eventually got a small set of Martin Logan's- sounded great hooked up to an Adcom amp. But not quite as good as the bookshelf Monitor Audio with McIntosh. Then again, everything sounded better hooked up to a McIntosh.
Then there was the time our next door neighbor complained the bass was knocking the candy bars of the shelf, after closing of course. My excuse, had to be loud to hear it over the vacuum cleaner. Good times. Great ownership- and don't get me started on the guys I worked with. Lots of laughs and a steady check. Miss u guys. RIP Marty B.
