i'm not familiar at all with their output except for Live At The Lighthouse '66 that i got a month ago. i'm diggin' a lot what i'm hearing and this seems a wonderful opportunity for myself to regret my ignorance

I hope it's a self-adhesive stamp. I'm not sure I want to have to lick his backside...

8. Whisper Not (Benny Golson)
Erwin Müller Trio
Erwin Müller (acc), Jacky Weidmann (b), Ueli Roser (d)
Jazzfestival Zürich (Switzerland), September 15, 1965.
Released on LP Ex Libris GB 393, reissued on CD2 of "Jazz in Switzerland 1930-1975" (Elite Special 4CD 9544002/1-4)
The only thing I know about Müller is that he took up the drums and is supposed to be active (or at least was, back in the nineties). Google for "Erwin Müller" and you will find that there's quite a bunch of people with that name...
I love the way he cuts into one of my all time favourite compositions, and I love the sonority he gets out of his weirdo instrument, too. And most important: he swings!
This man is hell, one of the most fascinating tracks on the first disc. It's pitty so little is known about him.
that's why i'm happy and sad at the same time
i was eagerly awaiting for the secret reveal hoping that i would get a full album with tremendous music like this
anyway, thanks Flurin

Steely Dan's Gauchp is really great on SACD

A few years ago they released the Lost Sessions disc which, frankly, in my opinion, wasn't that good. Those were some sessions that probably should have stayed in the can.
i like The Lost Sessions disc but we can only say if we like or not if we have those sessions released
if it's not that good we will post then "probably should have stayed in the can"

i do speak portuguese (very difficult language) french & spanish
i can communicate in english & italian
sometimes it's a mess on my brain trying to find the correct word
