    Hmmm...funny...

    I don't see Clem's posts so much as personal attacks on Chris..., but more as Clem trying to - in his own way - motivate/build a fire underneath/encourage/prod/goad Chris into doing something/put up or shut up/ etc. that would be just the opposite of what Chris is talking about is lacking in Schaap's work. ...a well-done, accurate book/broadcast/blog/etc. that would then truly be good for jazz. (jass)

    I could be wrong though...

    Hey gang,

    Up for grabs today are these Herbie Hancock discs from my collection. These just aren't getting much play these days...; I hope somebody here wants 'em.

    Shipping is $3.00 in the USA, $4.00 to Canada, and international at cost. Add a dollar for additional discs...(the 2 disc VSOP counts as two.) Buy all 3 and I'll cover the shipping. Go on a total Herbie binge! ;)

    They are:

    • V.S.O.P. - from 1976 on Columbia. French "Jazz Originals" series in digipack. Cds and inserts NM, digipack has very minor shelf-wear...VG+. $21
    • The Herbie Hancock Trio - from 1977 on Columbia with Carter and Williams. Sony Japan SRCS 7051 released 1992. Cd, inserts, and OBI NM! $17
    • The Herbie Hancock Trio with Ron Carter + Tony Williams - from 1981 on Columbia. Sony Japan SRCS 9172 20bit Mastersound from 1996. Cd, inserts, and OBI NM! $18

  12. Flat screen TV recs

    I love our Samsung 50" DLP set. No one has mentioned those yet. DLP sets aren't susceptible to screen burn-in either.

    We receive incredibly crisp, detailed images using it with our DishNetwork HD satellite service. We'll probably have BluRay by the end of the year too, probably via a PS3.
