    This March, Roscoe Mitchell performed a concert in tribute to Chicago saxophonist and musical giant Fred Anderson at Constellation Chicago. Among the pieces used as a basis for improvisation were Anderson's "Ladies in Love" and "Bernice." Tonight "Out on Blue Lake" at midnight (edt), we'll hear Anderson's original versions of those compostions, followed by the Roscoe Mitchell Quartet's interpretation of them from the newly issued recording on Nessa Records.
