I just saw that Proper has come out with a new series called "A Proper Introduction To....", single disc introductions to a particular artist. Jazz Review, the UK jazz journal, reviewed a couple in this month's magazine and one of them was some of Wynton Kelly's recordings for Blue Note in the early 50s. I'm not sure Blue Note EMI can do much about it since we're past the 50 year mark for the recordings but I wonder if they'll be vigilant about trying not to let these show up in the US. I would assume not since CD Universe is selling this disc as well as the Jazz Factory (Definitive) version of the same sessions.
