I caught the first act (the SFJazz All-Star High School Ensemble; pretty neat stuff!) and the first song by the Michael O'Neill Quintet (nice, but a bit too laid back for me...) before a serious disagreement (quaintly known as a "domestic dispute") broke out between me and my wife. Nothing really serious; we've patched up the damage, but unfortunately it cost me the rest of the show. Like I told her, maybe next year I can not only attend, but actually hear the music... On the plus side, a CD vendor there had Snurdy McGurdy and her Dancin' Shoes, so I can finally catch up with the rest of you on that one! Quote
