Brandon Burke Posted November 23, 2004 Report Posted November 23, 2004 (edited) Ran out of music and bored with NPR so I decided to check out some of the iTunes radio stations. Listening to DI.fm Modern Jazz as I type and they're playing "Port of Call" by Cecil Taylor. Earlier heard Ken McEntyre w/ Dolphy, an early Atlantic Ornette tune, and Mingus "Original Fables." AEoC "Dexterity" just started right now. Nothing completely of the wall but certainly great tunes. I'll be checking this out again. Edited November 23, 2004 by Brandon Burke Quote
Brad Posted November 23, 2004 Report Posted November 23, 2004 I like some of the jazz offerings on ITunes radio. They have KJAZ and another station that bills itself in the spirit of KJAZ. They also have a station just dedicated to Slim Gaillard. Strikes me as a little weird but hey what the hell, esp. if you need a Slim fix. Quote
