Anyone interested can send a card to WKCR as follows: WKCR Columbia University New York, NY 10027 Attn: Max Roach. No mention of his health - he just stated that he's retired. Quote

I was talking to Benny Golson a couple nights ago and a guy came up and gave Benny a note that said Max was in a nursing home ; didn't hear anymore details. Here's hoping for the best! Mark Quote
