CONTEMPORARY, 1956.

PICKED THIS LP UP IN LA OVER X-MAS TIME AND BOY IT IS A GOOD ONE. SOME MAMBOS, SOME BASIE STUFF AND GREAT SOLOS BY BOBBY COOPER ESPICALLY AND CANDOLI AND ROSOLNO AS WELL. OF NOTE TO YOU BLUENOTE NUTS, NOTICE A YOUNG SONNY CLARK ON PIANO. STAN LEVY ON DRUMS AND OF COURSE H-RUMS ON BASS (THATS HOWARD RUMSEY NOT YOU KNOW WHO) BESIDES THE MAMBOS THE TUNE TOPSY IS MY FAVORITE ON THIS LP.
