I just caught a little of a minute-long mention on the national news (!). I think Bird's alto brought in something in the $225,000 range. The anchor mentioned Dizzy's "bent-bell flugelhorn" as well.

Not sure what the Coltrane ALS manuscript went for.

I hope these treasures went to good homes.

Kansas City should have procured this alto instead of the piece-of-shit white plastic one they have.
