Thanks to everybody who replied and sorry for the late reply.  I timed the track Kenny W played.  It does run 4:48.

I had looked at Losin's listing of Bird's recordings of "I Can't Get Started" before I posted, but when I saw that the only one he listed at Birdland runs only 1:09 I assumed he had missed the one that Kenny played.

Seeing Phil Schaap's view is very helpful in understanding that there's a lot of uncertainty about this track.
