NAD C520 CD Player

Anyone had any problems with this NAD machine?

After cleaning the CD player with a CD cleaner it still doesn't play CDs. CDs contine to skip, flutter and have seconds of silence in the middle of songs.

Any advice as to what the problem may be.

Any suggestions for a new CD player?

Yes, the ARCAM CD73. While they say you should never trust the opinion of one reviewer, I'd say that this reviewer has pretty much pegged it -- "it" being everything minus the power cord biz which I don't mess aroud with. I'm quite pleased with this unit.
