tonym Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 If anyone is attending the event at the ADT Event Centre velodrome, Carson, California (near the Goodyear Blimp Base ), can you give one of my bezzie mates a shout as he's riding the Points Race today (mid afternoon PST). He won the event in 2002 in Copenhagen and will be marked heavily by his competitors, but he's a classy rider. Oh, and he's called Chris Newton. Thanks, just in case. Quote

Anyway he just missed out on a medal, 4th due to a tactical error in a small breakway from the bunch. He'll be a bit pissed but he gets another chance in the Men's Team Pursuit to be held on Saturday afternoon/evening. Are you in Carson area Cali? Quote
