I´ve spotted this one recently and was wondering how good is it.

Any thoughts?

It was probably close to 20 years ago that I dumped it, so I honestly can't remember the details as to my reasoning. I suspect I didn't find the sidemen very appealing... didn't swing, as I recall. I also seem to remember poor sound quality on my copy (I don't even recall if that was an LP or an early CD version).

I suppose it may not have been totally awful to my ears... but I'm pretty sure it was the worst Farlow recording I'd ever heard (IMO).

I'll put the vinyl in my listening pile for the next few days and post thoughts when I have re-digested. The Japanese pressing sounds typically good by their standards, so strange that you mention poor sound quality.
