Rooster_Ties Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 (edited) Howdy everybody, Quick question. Anybody know of an on-line map-generator where you can denote multiple locations on the same map?? And by multiple, I mean like a total of 8 or 9 different locations (all within the same one-square-mile area). And I’m needing something within about the next 12 hours, if at all possible. I'm trying to create a map for our neighborhood’s “historic homes and gardens tour” program/booklet (that's supposed to go to the printers tomorrow!!), and we need to be able to denote the various locations of the homes and gardens on the tour. Short of printing a map off Mapquest, and marking the thing up by hand (pen and ink), and then rescanning it in -- I'm hoping for something where I can key multiple addresses into it, and generate the map. Don’t need to draw routes (driving instructions) between the locations, I just need to put 8 or 9 stars on the same map. (Preferably with street-names and such, like on most maps from Mapquest, Yahoomaps, etc...) Thanks a bunch!!! Edited May 9, 2005 by Rooster_Ties Quote

Big Wheel Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 (edited) It looks like you can't do this yet via Google Maps. My advice: bring up a map of the area, print the screen and save the map in an image editing program, and then manually place Xs or stars or numbers or whatever to denote your locations. (By "manually" I mean "using the program to make changes to the image.") Then print out a bunch of copies of your map. You can also paste the pic into an MS Word document and annotate it that way.
