How do you arrange/organize your music collection

... all those cds and lps: How do you organize your music collection ?

alphabetical, to genres, to artists, with numbers ....?

i finally found my way: making a photo of each item, import all photos in the "iphoto" application of my Mac and give each pic a number... a great database, where you can also give each picture a keyword (for example, jazz, blue note jazz, soul etc) for which you can search

so let us all know how you manage all your jewels
