wolff
The re-issue/public domain label 'Improper Records' looks like a winner!! Basesd in Tonga, where copyright protection lasts just 6 months, we will be seeing some great CDRs of good stuff!! Look for their latest releases at Tower and CDUniverse.com. In a press release, Mr. Definitive of Improper Records said, "Why should the EU countries reap the benifits of ripping off USA performances of the last 50 years? We have as much right to these perfomances as anyone!!!! Horace Silver, Hank Jones and the estates of countless others have given us their blessing. Our only competition will be China and the integrity of jazz lovers everywhere. All of our CDRs will be remastered for superiour sound. The upgrade path is now clear and cheaper!! I have their reissues of: Art Blakey - The Big Beat Grant Green - Sunday Morning Donald Byrd - Fuego Don Cherry - Symphony For Improvisers Herbie Hancock - Inventions and Dimensions Freddie Redd - Music From The Connection and all I can say is
