casanovas347 Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 Hey Forum i have a little problem (mmh, maybe more than just one )....Marsupilami played a a geetar intro for our "flying geetar circus"-sessions....he said its fully improvised, but i guess he lied.....anyway, i need to know who the composer is, i don't wanna hurt any copyright.....at least cause Marsupilami hurt my feelings that much with his awesome "tailtapping-technique" everytime he play ...(my tail isn't that....mmh, well.... ) http://www.pacocasanovas.ch/swirly-rag.mp3 ooh, and cause this is a organ-jazz-board, we recorded Marsi's tune trough a leslie speaker box to get a authentic-board-music-feel greeetz and houba! scottb Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 As to which tune it sounds like... well, in short, all of them. (And I think they are all credited to Joplin.) Quote
GregN Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 What a fun tune. Everytime I hear this style of playing I get a smile on my face. Good time music for sure. Dig the Leslie sound too! M has got some skillz!! Not sure of original composer. But the Merle reference works for me. Quote
