GA Russell
I have recently started to use Mozilla Firefox instead of IE. A number of sites, thankfully not this one, are too wide for the screen, and I have to scroll back and forth to read everything. Does anyone know how to reduce the size of the screen to fit onto my monitor?
Use3D
Well you can try and up the resolution on your monitor to 800x600 at least for most websites. this can be done in display properties in the control panel. Also try reducing the txt size in firefox to seee if that helps...
neveronfriday
Lately, lots of sites have gone to 1024 * 768. That automatically leads to scrolling for many users out there.
Claude
Are you using a vintage 15" monitor (not flatscreen)? The minimum standard today is a 17" monitor or 15" flatscreen, which use a 1024x768 resolution, wide enough for all websites
casanovas347
12" flatscreen on my iBook here.... -_- ...works! (1024 x 768)
GA Russell
Thanks for your help, so far! I am using a vintage monitor. I have changed the settings to 1024x768, and that makes everything tiny. Can I keep this setting but enlarge the type?
