spinlps Posted November 17, 2005 Report Posted November 17, 2005 Has anyone else noticed these on True Blue's site? Aside from a two line description, they don't give much information on these: "A small quantity of a custom pressing of 150-gram LPs in sturdy jackets from the Fantasy family of labels has been made available to us. Supplies are very limited." None of the titles appear to overlap with Analogue Productions's releases although the Joe Henderson title does have an OJC logo. I thought they might be German OJC's based on the "OJC's on sale in Europe" thread, but I don't recall them having particularly "sturdy" jackets. Any experience with these? The titles seem fairly obscure. Quote
Clunky Posted November 17, 2005 Report Posted November 17, 2005 I got a few of these earlier in the year from True Blue- they don't appear to be anything special in terms of vinyl weight , sonics or sleeve construction. All sound just fine (very quiet) but then again I've nothing to compare to, I went for Jaki Byard- Sunshine.. Jaki Byard- With Strings . Hal McKusick- Triple ..? Quote
Alfred Posted November 18, 2005 Report Posted November 18, 2005 (edited) They still offer these pressings? Here is another thread of this topic. I thought that they are long gone because this "special sale" started back in August. Edited November 18, 2005 by Alfred Quote
