Guest akanalog Posted November 29, 2005 Report Posted November 29, 2005 anyone ever stop payment on a check? i never have before. i assume most people have. i feel like a criminal for some reason. i am in a business dispute with someone and they sort of left me no choice. feels weird though. i thought it would feel empowering but now i fear the police will come knocking down my door and tazer me. Man with the Golden Arm Posted November 30, 2005 Report Posted November 30, 2005 stopped one a couple years back after a woodcutter left me a pile of wood that was punkier than driftwood. gave him a week to check it out and never got any action. lucky for me he was lax on cashing so that cord cost me $15! had to wait till it warmed up to burn it though.
