I just got a blue note with a laminated cover that has a nice red oval price sticker on it. anyone have experience removing such buggers without damaging the cover? thanks

Aim a hot air blow dryer at the offending sticker for 20 or 30 seconds. This should weaken the adhesive sufficiently to make peeling-off easy. Adhesive residue can usually be removed with nail polish remover.

nail polish remover is mainly acetone isn't it? yipes! make sure to pour a little on the van gelder sig in the dead wax.
