jostber Posted February 27, 2006 Report Posted February 27, 2006 (edited) Anyone heard of this new movie about Chet? http://www.postchronicle.com/news/entertai...e_2128212.shtml http://www.cinematical.com/2006/02/12/josh...-as-chet-baker/ - Jostein Edited February 27, 2006 by jostber Quote
Dave James Posted February 27, 2006 Report Posted February 27, 2006 I heard something about this several years ago. At the time, the two people who were being considered for the Baker role were Matt Damon and Jim Carey. A movie based on Moody's "Looking for Chet Baker" would be interesting. I'm a big fan of his books. In addition to the Chet Baker book, "The Sound of the Trumpet" and "Death of a Tenor Man" are both pretty good reads. "Sound" focuses on Clifford Brown while "Death" deals with the passing of Wardell Gray. Up over and out. Quote
sheldonm Posted February 27, 2006 Report Posted February 27, 2006 ....maybe they should get James Dean to play Chet! Quote
sjarrell Posted February 27, 2006 Report Posted February 27, 2006 ....maybe they should get James Dean to play Chet! Leonardo DiCaprio was, at one point over the last few years, the Chet-to-be. Quote
jazzbo Posted February 27, 2006 Report Posted February 27, 2006 Hey isn't there some sort of new Hollywood law that you have to hire a British actor? Clove Olin as Chet? Jude Law? Quote
