jazzbo Posted March 2, 2006 Report Posted March 2, 2006 I've been enjoying that Do-Re-Mi and The Cool School two-fer a lot. The instrumental tracks that were left off the recent US reissue of Christy's that included the vocal selections of Do Re Mi are quite nice to have, the album is well programmed. And even though I'm not a big fan of some of the songs on the Cool School lp, the playing is superb and her singing is so so nice (as almost always). She was very unique to my ears. She and Jeri Southern should be better known these days. I wish Jeri's catalog got even the attention that June's has. Quote
