Has anyone else noticed that things are turning blue?

My telephones and base have blue lights, my computer speakers have blue lights, there is one on my most recently acquired hard disk, my iPod charge/speaker station has 2 blue lights, and my digital camera has 5!

A year ago, all my equipment lights were either green, red, or amber--not a single one was blue.

Has anyone else noticed this trend? Have the Chinese lowered the cost of blue LEDs?
