Clunky Posted June 5, 2006 Report Posted June 5, 2006 (edited) Recently got a DVD recorder, very neat as it allows for timed recording of radio broadcasts available on Freeview service here in UK. I like recording Jazz on 3 from the Beeb. Is there a good way of ripping the audio content from a DVD-R to allow creation of a CD-R. Playing the DVD on the PC and recording off the sound card is a possibility but I can't imagine the quality will be much good. Any ripper progs. out there that allow the audio from the DVD to be ripped to a WAV file.? thanks adrian Edited June 5, 2006 by Clunky Quote

Several shareware sites have downloads for these. It'l cost you about $30. I tried a 30 day trial version of one of them and it worked fine. They actually seem to be the same program or at least use the same code. The interface is essentially the same. I was unable to find any freeware that will do this. Ed Rhodes Quote
