If memory serves me write, the Strayhorn biog indicates that Strayhorn had a big hand in the arrangements of this session. ← Having just read the bio, Lush Life, I can attest that this is indeed what it says. The arrangements are pretty much all Strayhorn, heavily showing his classical influences. Quote
