Spotted: Ed Palermo Big Band

Good price, great disc, and it's otherwise out of print (though not impossible to find). I've seen it go for up to maybe $15 on eBay ($20 tops, maybe)

Here's one right now at half.com for $8 plus $2.50 postage.

Warning, Palermo has a somewhat sweet tone, not unlike David Sanborn, but the playing and arrangements (in particular) are really outstanding. This is one of those discs I pick up extras of whenever I find 'em used, just to pass along to people who I know would like them.

Wow, I've had this for years and thoughly enjoy it. Shame that recently Palermo decided to retire his Zappa band and start performing his own music. Good thing he captured some songs on tape.
