The Finnish documentary filmer Miki Kaurismäki made a great contribution to the Brazil musical traditions. He documented the roots of the Brazilian music, like the samba, in the northeastern part of Brazil and in Rio the Janeiro in his film Moro No Brasil

As passioned by the Choro music I missed this subject in this 2002 film, but, experts know, that Miki made a great film about choro with his documentary Brasileirinho he released last year.

If you like Brazil and its music, don't miss this one.
