jostber Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 A reissue of a rare Jack Teagarden and Bobby Hackett LP from 1963 has been released on CD by RLR Records: http://www.amazon.com/Last-Encounter-Holly...TF8&s=music I look forward to hear Jack play(and sing?) My Funny Valentine. Love his voice. - Jostein Quote
brownie Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 Thanks for calling our attention to this reissue. Always liked Teagarden. But I have been appreciating Hackett in recent years only! The other collaborations from these two helped my belated recognition of Hackett! Quote

Don Brown Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 I picked this one up last week. Haven't had a chance to listen to it yet but reading the booklet I learned that Teagarden was suffering from laryngitis the day of the concert and was unable to sing. Quote
