jostber
A reissue of a rare Jack Teagarden and Bobby Hackett LP from 1963 has been released on CD by RLR Records: http://www.amazon.com/Last-Encounter-Holly...TF8&s=music I look forward to hear Jack play(and sing?) My Funny Valentine. Love his voice. - Jostein
brownie
Thanks for calling our attention to this reissue. Always liked Teagarden. But I have been appreciating Hackett in recent years only! The other collaborations from these two helped my belated recognition of Hackett! Don Brown
I picked this one up last week. Haven't had a chance to listen to it yet but reading the booklet I learned that Teagarden was suffering from laryngitis the day of the concert and was unable to sing.
