Quite nice. I believe this may the piece on volume 2 of the "Don Cherry, Live at the Monmartre" set on Magnetic, MRCD 111 and 112. The second track is "Suite for Albert Ayler". Quote
Shannon Dickey Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 Hey, I have been looking in vain for the 3 LPs that Donald Ayler released on an Italian label in the '80's. I own them, but canna' find them. If I recall, they were mostly sub-par, with a few standout cuts. I'll keep digging, when I find them, I'll post the info. Anybody hip to these? Too many rekkids!!!! It's drivin' me krazy!! -----HB Quote
ep1str0phy Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 Some info is posted at ayler.org, but it doesn't give too much away. I'd be interested in hearing what you think (that is, if you find the stuff...). Quote
