Big Wheel Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 (edited) So as usual I've waited till the last minute, and I have 60000+ miles that are going to expire tomorrow if I don't accrue any activity on my Delta SkyMiles account. I thought I was being smart by accruing miles by spending money with one of their "retail partners", FTD.com. This way I get my miles for the roughly the same price as buying them outright from Delta, plus my grandmother gets some nice flowers for her anniversary next week. Anyway, I get through the checkout process and click "place order," and I get this message saying "You have accrued 990 miles. Miles may take 6 to 8 weeks to post to your account." (It supposedly takes 3-5 days if you just buy them straight from Delta.) My miles expire tomorrow if I don't accrue any today. Has anyone had any luck dealing with their customer service, and do you think they'll be flexible in this case? I'd really rather not shell out another $30 to try and buy more miles from Delta. I'm not qualified to answer, but here's a good place to look/pose question: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/forumdispla...ne=10&f=489 Quote
Jazzmoose Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 From what I've heard, "Delta" and "customer service" haven't been properly introduced, but then you always hear the complaints, not the good stuff. Quote
