Swinger Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 Happy New Year guys! Do you know where to find the cd mentioned in title for reasonable price? There is one copy available at gemm.com for over $57 and the price is WAY too high! Quote
Spontooneous Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 Yuck. What a gouge. In 2005, I bought a used copy through this board for about $10. Think I saw a fairly priced new copy at the B Side in Madison, Wis., about eight months ago. Quote
robviti Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 Yuck. What a gouge. well, it sure beats a price tag of $118.25 over at amazon marketplace. Quote

It surely beats the prige tag at amazon.com but on the other hand there are people at stevehoffman.tv website who buy Steve's DCC cds for that price. No matter how good the cd is,I wouldn't like to pay over $50 for one cd. Quote
danasgoodstuff Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 Maybe if you point out that the title is illiterate, they'll give you a discount. Seriously, it's a nice recording but not worth $50+ IMHO. Quote

True - it's a good recording with good tunes, but the performances feel a little academic to me (your milage may vary). Coincidentally, I'm currently spinning a CD by Trio Derome Guildbeault Tanguay, The Feeling of Jazz, which covers two songs from Who's Bridge, "Rollo II" and "A Bit Nervous". Quote
