Jazz Vinyl Posted January 6, 2007 Report Posted January 6, 2007 I just picked up a great used copy of the LP box "The Great Concert Of Eric Dolphy" (Prestige 34002). Does anyone know if the original sets included a booklet or something with recording notes, etc? BTW: it's jaw dropping Quote
J Larsen Posted January 7, 2007 Report Posted January 7, 2007 Is this the same material as the Live at the Five Spot CDs? Quote
J Larsen Posted January 7, 2007 Report Posted January 7, 2007 Just answered my own question. According to the Complete Prestige box (which is a must own, IMO), The Great Concert is a re-issue of Live at the Five Spot Vols 1 and 2 and Memorial album. If you can get the notes for those albums on line somewhere, then you should be all set. Quote

For some reason I can't get my new computer to scan type If you are that curious I can scan and post as thumbnails. Bill Quote
