EKE BBB Posted March 8, 2007 Report Share Posted March 8, 2007 From my Tete Montoliu research, I have discovered this session (different from the "Ben Webster Meets Don Byas" session, and actually recorded two days later): Date: February 3, 1968 Location: SWF’s Studio, Karlsruhe, Germany Label: [radio broadcast] Don Byas, Ben Webster (ldr), Don Byas, Ben Webster (ts), Tete Montoliu (p), Peter Trunk (b), Albert 'Tootie' Heath (d) a. Perdido (15:14) b. Stardust (5:12) Omit Don Bays (ts) on b. Broadcast on SWF Jazz Session program. I know this has been issued on a disc called something like "Tenorbattle" or "Tenor Battle", but I have no further reference (label, catalog number, additional material included...).
