This month, artists like Toots Thielemans and Kenny Werner, Roy Hargrove, The Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw with Greetje Kauffeld and numerous local, national and international famed jazz artists will perform in this small cozy and warm venue. On Thursday the 5th of April the openingconcert of the celebrations around the 50th birthday of the Porgy & Bess Jazz Club in Terneuzen ( southwest part of the Netherlands) took place. At that opening concert Toots Thielemans and Kenny Werner performed and the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw featuringGreetje Kauffeld, who celebrated her 50th birthday-in-jazz too. Be The Neehur! Lillian Boutté, the South Jazz Band ( 50 years young too) and the Joep Peeters band, known from the Traditional Jazz Festival in Breda will be the final acts.
