At the Middle East on Fri 9/12 Ted Leo (Solo), Rebecca Gates, Rosa Chancewell 18+ $10 Ted Leo is great. I imagine his solo show is pretty interesting. Before forming Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, he was doing one man shows with sampling and drum machines, guitar loops, bass, you name it, and still rocking out! Have a good time. Let me know which shops you hit. I know its not the most "underground" shop, but I've found some incredible stuff at the Newbury Comics on Newbury. Quote

Saturday at Zeit is piano fest--all day and night.The Fringe plays here now on Mondays... Also Friday John Butcher duo w/harp,Rhondi Davies at Boston ICA. Coupla good quartets Friday night at MIM series in Hyde Park. Infinitely less interesting,I'll be at Top Of The Hub Friday night(after opening for The Gin Blossoms in Plymouth)--Saturday afternoon, I'll be at Christopher Columbus Park with The Boston Jazz Rep Orchestra.
