mikelz777 Posted September 13, 2007 Report Posted September 13, 2007 I don't know for how long but as of this writing, Amazon is selling a lot of ECM titles for $9.97. It's a pretty nice deal if you are buying 3 or more CDs to qualify for the free shipping. Quote
mikelz777 Posted September 14, 2007 Author Report Posted September 14, 2007 Thus my notation "a lot of" as opposed to "all". Quote
GA Russell Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 Do you have a link for the list, Mike? Quote

Free For All Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 Do you have a link for the list, Mike? I just got on Amazon and typed in ECM and got a fairly long list of titles, many of which were priced at $9.97. Some classic titles as well as newer titles. I found quite a few that I'd been holding off on because of the higher price. Ralph Towner, Gary Burton, Bobo Stenson, Tomascz Stanko, Terje Rypdal and Egberto Gismonti among others. Very nice sale, but I can't help but wonder why........ Quote
Free For All Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 Enjoy, and report back on all purchases, please! Quote
mikelz777 Posted September 14, 2007 Author Report Posted September 14, 2007 (edited) There's no way I should be picking up more CDs right now but it comes down to buying now and saving or waiting and paying more later. I kept my picks to a reasonable four: Astrakan Cafe-Anouar Brahem Le Voyage de Sahar-Anouar Brahem Conte de L'incroyable Amour-Anouar Brahem Lontano-Tomasz Stanko Quartet Edited September 14, 2007 by mikelz777 Quote
Patrick Posted September 15, 2007 Report Posted September 15, 2007 This jazz sales event also includes a large number of OJC's at $8, in case you haven't already gobbled up all that you desire from Concord/J&R/Newbury/.... I ordered 3 ECMs (Rava: Easy Living, Tati; Stanko: From the Green Hill), and 7 OJC's (Miles: Collector's Items; Lacy: Soprano Sax; Dickerson: To My Queen; Byard: Here's Jaki; Dameron: Mating Call (RVG); Adderley: In SF (RVG); Rollins: Freedom Suite).
