paul secor Posted September 21, 2007 Report Posted September 21, 2007 I've had the three collections of Crumb's cards - Heroes of the Blues, Early Jazz Greats, and Pioneers of Country Music -since Yazoo Records issued them in the 1980s. Quote
Hot Ptah Posted September 21, 2007 Report Posted September 21, 2007 Me too. I have always loved them. But then I collected baseball and football cards when I was a kid. Quote
7/4 Posted September 21, 2007 Report Posted September 21, 2007 I have a copy of the book, but never really sat down and checked it out. Quote
jlhoots Posted September 21, 2007 Report Posted September 21, 2007 I also have the book & CD. I did check them out & was pleased. Maybe I have more time on my hands. Quote
Patrick Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 (edited) I have an uncut sheet of the early jazz greats framed and hanging on a wall by the computer, and a card set somewhere in the closet. These were reissued fairly recently, so the newer version isn't quite as "collectable" as the first issue. Here's a new sheet for sale on eBay: Crumb Early Jazz Great Sheet looks like I can't get this link to work... Edited September 22, 2007 by Patrick Quote
