I wonder if Osbourne's bitching will take it to court, deem the sting illegal because the sheriff didn't have Osbourn's permission to use his name, on some "constitutional" grounds and all the dumbasses are set free? Personally I think the sheriff had a good idea, too bad Osbourne couldn't go along with it. Seems like he could have, privately, asked for an apology from the sheriff, and let it go at that. Even that would've been kinda prickish, but a suitable compromise.
