coooltrane Posted December 4, 2007 Report Posted December 4, 2007 If you can't tune your own fucking guitar, do everyone a favor and don't try to play one. Sorry, but you realize how many guitar players exist in this world that can't/don't tune without the help of a tuner ? That skill is being lost. Hello 2007. Quote

Guest Bill Barton Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 I wonder if somebody, somewhere, is working on self-tuning guitarists? Robot guitars? (sigh) Quote
Harold_Z Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 If you can't tune your own fucking guitar, do everyone a favor and don't try to play one. I like what you said and the way you said it It's really a crappy idea......actually a gimmick, because even if it works the way it's explained - the bridge will still need periodic adjustments for the guitar to really play in tune. I can just see some birdbrain who can't tune a guitar insisting that he's in tune because he bought a guitar with this gimmick. In the meantime his bridge needs an adjustment and he doesn't have a clue as to what that is. Quote

I like what you said and the way you said it Thanks...do I sound a little frustrated? It's insane how people want to take the quick path and don't take the time to get in touch with music. Maybe that's next, the computer controlled truss rod. Quote
