ghost of miles Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 Just got an e-mail from the JPL about this...looks to be a very ambitious undertaking: Jazz.com Quote
Free For All Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 Ambitous, yes. Looks very interesting! Quote
Christiern Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 (edited) Very nice site, both visually and intellectually. Ted Gioia sent me a note about it a week or so ago and I signed in. They deserve all the encouragement we can muster up. Edited January 8, 2008 by Christiern Quote
Patrick Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 Does look interesting. Will certainly read the Gioia material--nice piece about Mehldau. Saw Mike Fitzgerald listed in their Community, but didn't see too many folks who were simply fans (and not musicians, critics, academics, etc.). Obviously it's very early. It will be interesting to see what mix/vibe develops there. Quote
Guest Bill Barton Posted January 9, 2008 Report Posted January 9, 2008 This looks like a very promising start. I'll definitely be checking this out in more depth. My only minor quibble is that much of it is rather hard to read (small type). A combination of old eyes and a less-than-state-of-the-art monitor on my part don't help... Quote
