I guess I should pass this on to my Internet service provider, though I am sure I would get a form letter back saying how many scam emails there are out there and how very hard they are working to do something about it... <_<

A friend in Melbourne, Australia just emailed me about a virus scam in which you get a message supposedly from Microsoft (complete with official-looking logos) offering a patch to protect you from a virus or worm. The message includes an exe thing that you are supposed to click on. The thing is itself a virus or worm.
