Bluerein Posted March 2, 2008 Report Posted March 2, 2008 Hello all, don't know if this is covered already but what do you guys/dolls think of Stefano's latest Blue Note (France) CD? I happened to attend the second day of the recording session in Paris (MC was producing it and The Hague-Paris isn't the end of the world so I thought why not....). Eric Harland, Baptiste Tottignon on Organ and Russel Malone were great to watch and hear in a studio setting. Fabrizio Bosso was only present at day one so I misse dhim but his solo on Midnight Blue is somethin' else! I really like this CD. Nothing new or unexpected but simply great playing and tunes. Go to iTunes and download the 2 extra track as well. The Mission is really great and one of my all time Battista favorite. Quote
Bluerein Posted March 7, 2008 Author Report Posted March 7, 2008 No one even remotely interested in Stefano? Quite amazing since I think he's a really fine player. Quote

I just received this album and like it just fine after my initial listen. Stefano is a very fine player, I'm interested in anything he does. Quote
